We’re absolutely thrilled to be working on Every Brilliant Thing at @sohoplace, which has opened to phenomenal reviews and standing ovations. Launching its West End run with the legendary Sir Lenny Henry (@lennyhenryofficial), the play has captivated audiences with his powerful and heartfelt performance. Seeing him take on this role is a once-in-a-lifetime experience - and one not to be missed this month. Written by Olivier Award-nominated Duncan Macmillan (People, Places and Things) and co-created by Jonny Donahoe, Every Brilliant Thing has become a global phenomenon, performed in over 80 countries worldwide. For the first time, it now takes centre stage in London’s West End, co-directed by acclaimed director Jeremy Herrin (Best of Enemies, Wolf Hall Trilogy). This limited run features an incredible rotating cast, including Lenny Henry, Ambika Mod, Sue Perkins, Minnie Driver, and Jonny Donahoe himself - making each performance truly unique. The play’s premise is beautifully simple, yet deeply moving: You’re seven years old. Your mum is struggling. To help her, you start a list of everything that’s brilliant in the world - ice cream, staying up late, the colour yellow. Over the years, that list grows, shaping not only your mother’s outlook but your own. Both hilarious and heartbreaking, Every Brilliant Thing is a joyful exploration of love, hope, and the small things that make life worth living.
