This autumn, prepare to experience Bram Stoker’s classic like never before. Mina Harker, awakened by the unimaginable horrors she has witnessed, takes centre stage in a major new adaptation of Dracula. As the only survivor of the tragic events chronicled in the famous letters, Mina demands your attention - and you’d be wise to listen closely.
Alongside her trusted allies and in memory of her beloved friend Lucy, Mina recounts Dracula’s terrifying journey from Transylvania to London. Together, they scramble to piece together the truth of his monstrous desires - but is their performance merely a warning, or could it have the power to conjure the dead? This thrilling adaptation by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm (Emilia) uncovers the female voices at the heart of the story, offering a fresh perspective on one of horror’s most enduring tales. Directed by Emma Baggott (A Taste of Honey), the production promises a suspenseful, immersive experience that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Catch this dark, gripping theatrical thriller at Lyric Hammersmith Theatre from 11 September to 11 October 2025, and witness a story of terror, memory, and the voices that refuse to be silenced.

We were delighted to partner with Lionsgate UK last week for an exclusive screening of The Long Walk, one of the year’s most anticipated adaptations from the master of horror, Stephen King. The film boasts a stellar cast, including rising British talent David Jonsson, alongside Cooper Hoffman, Ben Wang, Roman Griffin Davis, Judy Greer, and none other than Star Wars legend Mark Hamill. Based on King’s chilling novel, The Long Walk is set in a near-future America where society has descended into a harsh police state. Every year, one hundred boys are chosen to compete in a deadly contest. The rules are simple, but the stakes couldn’t be higher: maintain a walking speed of at least four miles per hour - without stopping. Fall behind, receive three warnings, and the consequence is permanent. Only one boy can win, and his prize is anything he desires for the rest of his life. This haunting premise makes for an unforgettable cinematic experience, combining psychological intensity, emotional drama, and King’s signature sense of dread. This summer we’ve had the absolute joy of working on Brown Girls Do It Too: Mama Told Me Not To Come with the brilliant Poppy & Rubina. Following an incredible run at Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, and Soho Walthamstow, the show has cemented itself as one of the boldest, funniest, and most unapologetic performances of the year. At its heart, Mama Told Me Not To Come is a riotous celebration of Brown British womanhood. Through songs, sketches, and hilariously frank storytelling, Poppy and Rubina dive headfirst into topics often swept under the rug - love, sex, mums, culture clashes, heartbreak, “sexpectations,” and smashing cultural taboos. Nothing is off-limits, and that’s what makes it so powerful. With their signature honesty and infectious energy, the duo explore the messy realities of modern life: from first loves and orgasms to racism, intergenerational trauma, and the hilarious missteps along the way (yes, Jolen bleach gets a mention). The result is a show that is both laugh-out-loud funny and deeply moving - an ode to honesty, empowerment, and finding your voice. The stage show builds on the success of their award-winning BBC Sounds podcast, Brown Girls Do It Too, which has already taken home Podcast of the Year (2020), Best Sex and Relationship Podcast (2023) at the British Podcast Awards, and Best Podcast at the Asian Media Awards. While the podcast broke boundaries by sparking conversations around sex and Asian communities - sparking both huge support and online backlash - the live show takes that openness to the next level. With sketches, songs, and some very graphic content, Mama Told Me Not To Come is more than just a performance - it’s a movement. Fierce, funny, and unfiltered, it’s a fearless reminder that talking about sex, identity, and womanhood is not only necessary but liberating. Happy publication day to the brilliant Sathnam Sanghera! We’re thrilled to have collaborated with Sathnam for the second time - this time on his powerful new children’s book, Journeys of Empire, which brings the history of the British Empire vividly to life for young readers. In this remarkable book, Sathnam explores the Empire through ten epic journeys that shaped the world. From rebellious pirate queens navigating treacherous seas, to the tragic story of Pocahontas, and Gandhi’s extraordinary Salt March, each story offers a window into pivotal moments of history that continue to influence our world today. Aimed at readers aged 9 and up, Journeys of Empire makes the vast and often overlooked history of Britain’s imperial past accessible, engaging, and unforgettable. As Sathnam himself reminds us, the British Empire is one of the biggest stories of our nation - bigger than winning wars, sports, or creating iconic cultural figures like James Bond and Peppa Pig - yet it’s rarely discussed in schools. This book is a vital step in changing that. We’re incredibly proud to have partnered with the amazing team at Puffin Books UK on this project. With Sathnam’s award-winning insight (author of Empireland, Empireworld, and Stolen History), Journeys of Empire is more than a history book—it’s a journey through time, told in a way that resonates with young readers and sparks curiosity about the world around them. We’re absolutely thrilled to be working on Every Brilliant Thing at @sohoplace, which has opened to phenomenal reviews and standing ovations. Launching its West End run with the legendary Sir Lenny Henry (@lennyhenryofficial), the play has captivated audiences with his powerful and heartfelt performance. Seeing him take on this role is a once-in-a-lifetime experience - and one not to be missed this month. Written by Olivier Award-nominated Duncan Macmillan (People, Places and Things) and co-created by Jonny Donahoe, Every Brilliant Thing has become a global phenomenon, performed in over 80 countries worldwide. For the first time, it now takes centre stage in London’s West End, co-directed by acclaimed director Jeremy Herrin (Best of Enemies, Wolf Hall Trilogy). This limited run features an incredible rotating cast, including Lenny Henry, Ambika Mod, Sue Perkins, Minnie Driver, and Jonny Donahoe himself - making each performance truly unique. The play’s premise is beautifully simple, yet deeply moving: You’re seven years old. Your mum is struggling. To help her, you start a list of everything that’s brilliant in the world - ice cream, staying up late, the colour yellow. Over the years, that list grows, shaping not only your mother’s outlook but your own. Both hilarious and heartbreaking, Every Brilliant Thing is a joyful exploration of love, hope, and the small things that make life worth living. |
